Support for Windows 2008, SQL 2008 & SharePoint 2007 in RightFax 9.4
During the launch of RightFax 9.4 Open Text committed to providing support for Windows 2008, SQL 2008 and SharePoint 2007 in the first half of 2009 and we are pleased to announce that support for these platforms will be available with Service Release 2. Customers wishing to install on Windows 2008 can simply use the existing RightFax 9.4 DVD media and then apply Service Release 2 to achieve full compatibility. 
Service Release 2 is due in March.

RightFax 9.4 certified as a “3COM ON Validated Solution
RightFax has been certified as a “3COM ON Validated Solution” as of 2/3/2009. Interoperability between
RightFax 9.4 and 3COM VCX platform has been verified through the 3COM ON program. This compliance testing has validated fax over IP (FoIP) interoperability leveraging SR140 via SIP and T.38 protocols allowing 3COM customers to further leverage their investments in VoIP and Fax technologies and thus deriving additional operating efficiencies.

Open Text Fax Server 9.4 (RightFax) Upgrades Are Shipping Now
Open Text is now accepting requests for Open Text Fax Server 9.4 Upgrades.  As Fax Server 9.4 incorporates a new product activation model, we are asking partners and customer to complete one of the upgrade request forms to ensure we have accurate configuration information, prior to the upgrade being applied.  Capturing this information at request time, will ensure a smooth upgrade and activation process.
