Vonexus Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Interactive Intelligence Inc. (Nasdaq: ININ), has combined its 100 percent Microsoft-based IP PBX with AudioCodes (Nasdaq: AUDC) voice over IP media gateways for a cost-effective, reliable, and complete IP telephony solution.

The Vonexus IP PBX, Enterprise Interaction Center® (EIC), helps customers leverage and protect their technology investments by providing an end-to-end IP telephony solution that lets them keep dial tone providers and existing phone numbers, while taking advantage of sophisticated computer telephony software applications running on an open, session initiation protocol (SIP)-based server with the widest available range of pre-integrated Microsoft back office and desktop applications.

Combined with the AudioCodes gateways, which provide the required network elements that enable connectivity for external calls to the PSTN, Vonexus customers get the added flexibility and cost saving benefits that come as a result of running these applications from their corporate infrastructure to branch offices without deploying additional telephony equipment.

Under the terms of the agreement, EIC can be purchased with AudioCodes analog MediaPack™ gateway products, and its digital Mediant™ gateway products.
